    Saturday April 20th, 2024
    Brevet starts and finishes at Ronkonkoma LIRR train station. This ride will take the rider down to the South fork, crossing over Shelter Island to Greenport, and returning on steadily rolling terrain along the North Fork.

    Brevet starts and finishes in LIRR parking area in Bethpage (across the street from Bike Junkie). This ride will take the rider all the way to Orient Point State Park on the North Fork before turning and taking a more central route back to Bethpage with some nice rollers on the run into the finish.

    Brevet starts and finishes at Station Square in Forest Hills (NYC Subway and LIRR accessible). This ride will take the rider east to Ronkonkoma via the Grand Central Parkway & LIE service roads. Then the course mimics the Ronkonkoma 200K, heading east onto the South Fork including a dawn ride from Sag Harbor to Greenport on the Shelter Island south ferry before heading westward along the North Fork to reconnect with the LIE/GCP service roads back to Forest Hills Station Square.there, and returning to Forest Hills by the same route in reverse.

The registration for a LI randonneurs brevet is a two step process:sign the on-line waiver (mandatory) and pay the brevet fee:

In that email, there is a link where you can download your waiver in PDF format. Download a copy and email the file to the RBA (link to RBA e-mail).

You can NOT start the ride if we did not receive your signed waiver.

You must sign a waiver for each event that you are planning to ride.

No day-of Registration. Your waiver & event fee must receive by no later than 5pm the day before the event unless otherwise posted or you have RBA permission.
